The French Polar Institute's photo library allows its staff, the public, collaborators and partners to access a set of photographs directly related to its missions. The French Polar Institute's photo library presents photos of missions in the polar regions. Each year, more than 300 people leave with the French Polar Institute to work in Antarctica, the Arctic and the Subantarctic Islands, bringing back with them a stream of images that we suggest you discover in these galleries. The use of these photos is subject to restrictions and implies the respect of the General Conditions of Use. All users must read them and, as they are likely to be updated, consult them regularly.
